Crabs & Scallops
In addition to lobster, Benson Seafood works with select Atlantic Canadian species based on seasonality and availability.
Crab
A natural extension of Benson’s core business. Through the company’s processing infrastructure, Benson is positioned to support year-round crab programs as capacity comes online, allowing for consistent handling, freezing, and distribution alongside lobster.
Scallops
Offered during the winter fishery, when product quality is at its peak. These are handled fresh and sold directly into established markets, with future value-added potential supported through expanded processing capacity.

From dockside intake through storage, processing, packaging, and transportation, we have eyes on the standards and quality of our product at every step.

With our in-house lobster tank houses, processing capacity, and shipping through our transportation arm, BenMark Trucking, Benson is able to move seafood efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the product.
